When we built our concierge medicine program at Blue Sky MD Health, we didn’t just want to offer more access to a doctor. We wanted to offer a different kind of care altogether, and that starts with who is delivering it. For Dr. Amanda Alexander, DO, the connection between her training as an osteopathic physician and the concierge model isn’t a coincidence. It’s the whole point.
“An osteopathic physician is the perfect fit for a concierge practice,” Dr. Alexander explains. “That goes back to the tenets of osteopathic medicine. We’re not trained to just look at the problem list and fix the problem list. We are trained to look at the entire body as an integrated unit of structure and function.”
The Whole-Person Philosophy
That distinction matters more than it might sound. As a DO, Dr. Alexander’s training pushes her to look past a chart full of diagnoses and medications and consider the whole person behind them. Sleep, stress, movement, relationships, history: all of it shapes health, and all of it factors into how she treats you. “We take all the parts of a person, not just their medical problems or their medication list, but everything that makes a person who they are, and bring that into how we treat your medical problems,” she says. “If we don’t incorporate and think about all of those other parts, we’re not going to get to the root cause of why you aren’t feeling good, and we can’t start creating an incredibly personalized treatment plan for you.”
Where Concierge Medicine Comes In
That whole-person philosophy needs room to actually happen, and that’s where concierge medicine comes in. A traditional visit gives a physician a handful of minutes to work with. Our concierge program gives Dr. Alexander the time and the smaller patient panel to practice the way her training taught her to: longer, more thorough visits, same or next-day appointments when something comes up, and direct communication with her by text or phone. It’s medicine the way it’s supposed to feel.

Membership is $2,400 a year, and we’ve intentionally capped the program at 300 patients so that number stays true. Members get comprehensive preventive care planning built around annual wellness visits, which are covered by insurance, along with coordinated specialist referrals and ongoing advocacy if you need to see someone outside our office. The program also integrates smoothly with our weight loss and hormone therapy services, and includes value-based care options for seniors.
We’re currently welcoming new members into the program, with founding members getting priority placement as we grow. If you’re ready for a doctor who actually knows you, and a treatment plan built around your whole life rather than just your chart, we’d love to talk.
