From here, she entered graduate school at Clemson University and studied nutrition. This was followed by medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina and then residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville. After many years of traditional Ob-Gyn practice, she trained in Integrative Medicine at The Sajune Institute for Restorative and Regenerative Medicine in Florida.
